No apologies, just smell: a dystopic evocation. A perfume like T-Rex must be praised for its unapologetic appearance and how it dares to be bold. It gives this creature its due – with a power we can only imagine. T-Rex elaborates upon its smoky theme, and belongs to the same class of fragrances that blends elegance with power, such as Rien Intense, Bois d’Ascese, Lonestar Memories, and 1740. It is a clenched fist in a glove made of smoke, seasoned with fire and spices. It surprises with its elegant shape – leathery smoke, as well as incense smoke, bitter acrid smoke, and animalic smoke come together and miraculously assumes form. Look through this filter and find a masterful composition that draws musky notes out from black pepper, followed by the warm and endless buzz of bay leaf and woody nutmeg. This is not thoughtless perfumery, just maximalism and strength.
