More than a dark rose, but a deep rose: the eponymous floral note is full and lively, generous and gorgeous - the sort of interpretation one loves to get lost in, amongst the layers of vibrant petals. It is thick and decadent, a paste of concentrated scent, its naturalistic qualities clear, distinct, and persistent. All of this is possible thanks to a precious Taif rose extract from Grasse, France.

Its development is long and melodic - it comes into darkness, and what begins as a photorealistic rose gains in Arabesque decoration. Oud, saffron, patchouli, amber - all too familiar additions, here respected, never engulfing the rose, which is allowed to be. They make the rose larger, deeper - a vibration that brings out its many dimensions. There’s no mistaking what this fragrance is, which slowly but surely expresses itself.
