Triumph & Disaster Rock & Roll Face Scrub is definitely not for the faint of heart. Left to their own devices, dead layers of skin and deposits of sebum will sit on the surface until they either flake or are brushed away. Over time these deposits collect particles of dirt creating blackheads and unhealthy looking skin. Regular exfoliation with a well balanced and complete face scrub such as this product will remove this build up of unwanted material, cleaning out dirty pores and revealing the fresh layers of healthy skin underneath. Due to the presence of clay and ash in this product, it may also be used as a face mask, to further cleanse the skin of excess oil and blackhead buildup.
  • Clay Face Scrub and Mask.
  • Ideal for all skin types.
  • Ideal for improving skin texture, tone, and brightening. Great for blackheads and excess oil.
  • Natural 'smoke and wood' aroma.
  • No animal testing. No parabens or silicones.
  • Made in New Zealand.

Lather on hand then rub into face and pores for a deep rigorous cleanse. Rinse well. This product can also be used as a face mask, when applied to the face and left for approximately ten minutes to dry. The product should then be rinsed off with comfortably warm water. Designed for weekly use.

Green Clay: A highly absorbent, oil-sucking clay that draws out impurities present in and on the skin. Rich with iron, magnesium, and potassium, this clay is also highly nourishing.Volcanic Ash: Packed with revitalising antioxidants, the natural particles work as a gentle abrasive to help smooth, and resurface the skin.

Wheres the scrub?

This product smells great and does leave my face feeling clean, but unfortunately not as much as the urth scrub. This one is nice, but it doesnt quite hit the mark for me. Sure its a bit cheaper but Im not sure if ill grab this one next time. More of a personal preference than a bad product!

Beats the 'top brand' stuff

Have been using the top brands for years and nothing comes close to this product.

Actually exfoliates properly and the only challenge is to not use it more than the recommended once per week.

Easily the best scrub I have ever found.

Good overall

I have for the past year been using the Baxter of California Facial Scrub. Which I still love.

I decided to branch out when my last batch of this ran out. I am a fan of coarse scrubs, as I use them only weekly and find that these work quite well on my skin.

I must admit, I was slightly disappointed with the coarseness of the Triumph scrub. It's not as coarse as the baxter, and that was one of the reasons I love that scrub.

I have however still greatly enjoyed this scrub. It always leaves my face feeling super soft. I love the volcanic ash, and only a small bit is require to get a good scrub.

I'm not a huge fan of the fact that it seems to Sud up abit. I like that in a face wash but not so much a scrub.

Overall it's a really good scrub and I would continue using it. I can't say it trumps the baxter scrub.

Still perfect

Still as perfect as the first time I used this two years ago. Just a little goes a long way, texture is perfect in terms of roughness, and a bonus to leave it on as a clay mask
