Frapin Laskarina honours the memory of the heroine of the Greek War of Independence in 1821, Laskarina "Bouboulina" Pinotsis, with a strong-willed perfume. It contains notes of a floral, spicy jus, gentle yet feisty, reflecting the paradox of Laskarina. Starting off on fresh, sweet notes, it ends on unyielding accords of pepper and amber. Made in France.
Editor's Notes: Laskarina explores the fruity side of spice. Take its pink pepper note, with its crisp edge of rose, leading into the cool smoke of frankincense evoking an idea of woods. And after all, this is the Cognac house Frapin, so note the addition of pear which creates an image of pear brandy as its cool and refined fruity tones melt with mature soft spices and crisp smoke. Fruit at its best!
