About 4-6 shaves from a blade is typical. As soon as the edge starts to dull, replace it. It doesn’t matter which side of the blade faces up, and turning it over after a few shaves won’t make any difference.

Too sharp for me

There are indeed sharp blades and if that is what you're looking for, look no further. On my skin (which is a bit sensitive) they caused a slight bit of irritation

These blades provide an excellent shave. Very smooth and effortless shave with only two passes needed for a BBS shave. No irritation or nicks to mention. Give these a try, well worth it at this price.

As good as Feathers

Hesitant to buy as I already had Feathers to use and they were the best.
Very glad I bought these!
For me they are on par with Feathers. SImilar sharpness and shave even smoother sometimes. Definitely worth a go if you have a very heavy, very coarse beard like me.
