To me, this is more strongly scented, and it works very nicely. I use AS splashes, and then a balm or moisturiser, so can't offer an opinion on it's soothing properties, but as a AS cream it works very well. It's not greasy or heavy, and provides good moisturising. Not sure if the scent lingers at all, but I find it more up front than the other T&H Sandalwood products.
