Description

Triumph & Disaster Rock & Roll Suicide Face Scrub is definitely not for the faint of heart. Left to their own devices, dead layers of skin and deposits of sebum will sit on the surface until they either flake or are brushed away. Over time these deposits collect particles of dirt creating blackheads and unhealthy looking skin. Regular exfoliation with a well balanced and complete face scrub like Rock & Roll Suicide will remove this build up of unwanted material, cleaning out dirty pores and revealing the fresh layers of healthy skin underneath. Made in New Zealand.

Wheres the scrub? Review by: Kristofer 30/10/2017

This product smells great and does leave my face feeling clean, but unfortunately not as much as the urth scrub. This one is nice, but it doesnt quite hit the mark for me. Sure its a bit cheaper but Im not sure if ill grab this one next time. More of a personal preference than a bad product!
Beats the 'top brand' stuff Review by: Toby 9/04/2017

Have been using the top brands for years and nothing comes close to this product.

Actually exfoliates properly and the only challenge is to not use it more than the recommended once per week.

Easily the best scrub I have ever found.
Good overall Review by: Jeremy 12/08/2016

I have for the past year been using the Baxter of California Facial Scrub. Which I still love.

I decided to branch out when my last batch of this ran out. I am a fan of coarse scrubs, as I use them only weekly and find that these work quite well on my skin.

I must admit, I was slightly disappointed with the coarseness of the Triumph scrub. It's not as coarse as the baxter, and that was one of the reasons I love that scrub.

I have however still greatly enjoyed this scrub. It always leaves my face feeling super soft. I love the volcanic ash, and only a small bit is require to get a good scrub.

I'm not a huge fan of the fact that it seems to Sud up abit. I like that in a face wash but not so much a scrub.

Overall it's a really good scrub and I would continue using it. I can't say it trumps the baxter scrub.
Still perfect Review by: Jonathon 19/07/2016

Still as perfect as the first time I used this two years ago. Just a little goes a long way, texture is perfect in terms of roughness, and a bonus to leave it on as a clay mask
So good! Review by: Andrew 18/05/2016

I picked this one up from the Melb store, this is really great, I use weekly and especially use if I'm going to have a shave afterwards with my Merkur HD. Hasn't got any of the chemicals found in 'mass produced' brands and really wakes me up!

scrub and mask Review by: Jonathon 8/12/2015
Rating:
Having used this for a year, i havent found a better scrub than this. The particles are rough enough for a good scrub, and i leave it on for about 10-15 minutes, allowing the salicylic acid, and clay to really act as a mask as well.
Get it scrubbing~ Review by: JL 4/12/2014

after the Armani scrub was discontinued, i found it hard to find a replacement. this scrub is absolutely fantastic. it has a much softer texture than the Armani, but the texture when rubbed on the skin is, if not, even better! leave it on so the salicylic acid works it way deep into your skin!
What happened??? Review by: Simon 21/02/2014
Rating:
I have no idea what happened. I picked up on this product a year or two back and have been very happy with the results. In particular, its been very generous with the size and quantity of the granuals (the stuff that actually does the scrubbing, right?)

Then they went and changed the recipe or something.

The current pack I'm using has much finer granuals than previously and there aren't many now. It's more like a facial cleanser now than a scrub. Not what I paid money for.

+1 to rating if you like a finer scrub that isn't harsh (at all!) on the face
+1 to rating if you wash in a basin that isn't white porcelain
the highest quality no nasties scrub Review by: Peter 25/10/2013
Rating:
this stuff is awesome, all natural ingredients, no nasties, the results are that good that you only need to use it once a week, cleans dead skin cells like no other, the quality saves you money in the end as you did need to use it much. A small bit goes a long way. Smells is good for me but a little odd, and it has volcanic ash in it (think Rotorua) so expect it to look dark but it works like nothing else I tried in the last 20 years, try it, you won't use anything else again
Amazing scrub Review by: Aidan 29/09/2013
Rating:
This is a really really great scrub. It has quite a strong smell that I can see many not liking but I personally appreciate it. It also has a very dark grey colour, but neither smell nor colour linger so it's ok. The best part though is how strong and thick the scrub is. It definitely manages to cleanse the top layers of skin as well as get down in for a deeper clean. It says weekly use but I've been using it twice a week and it works a treat. Would definitely recommend for those after a facial scrub to add to their routine.
You can feel it working Review by: Harry 2/07/2013

I purchased this for myself after getting addicted to DE shaving in an effort to take better care of my skin.

I've used it twice now. First time was great. I could definitely see a difference before and after. The second time I used it before shaving and I found that it made a difference in my shave (in a good way). I would completely recommend to someone else. My only comment would be that it would be cool if a larger size was offered also.
Love it Review by: Matthew 23/08/2012

I find this scrub work really well for my combination skin. i have been using it for a few weeks now along side the face cleanser buy T and D and my skin is perfect since using it. i do use it twice a week before i shave despite the instructions saying its for weekly use and have had no problems with my skin drying out or any burning after use. Will definatly continue to buy triumph and disaster products in the future.
Loving T&D Review by: Anthony 3/07/2012
Rating:
This stuff is exceptional. The smell is odd. It reminds me of shoe polish but it doesn't linger and it works so well I'll happily over look the smell, actually I rather like it. I have only used this twice because they recommend using it only once a week but the results are very noticeable. I have very sensitive/oily skin but it isn't harsh and clears up the pores like nothing else. This scrub and the T&D cleanser found here http://www.mensbiz.com.au/triumph-and-disaster-ritual-face-cleanser.html have replaced my usual cleanser and exfoliator. And it is made in Aus!
