Taylor's St. James Shaving Cream has a complex, masculine fragrance with citrus top notes of Bergamot and Mandarin combined with crisp herbs. Heart notes utilise florals, fruits and spices on a base of Sandalwood, Amber, Patchouli and Musk. Can be used with or without a brush. Also available in a smaller 75g tube which is great for travel. Made in England.

Bottom Line: A stylish, gentlemanly scent. Very likeable.

I was hesitant about ordering this one, but I'm glad I did. At first I wasn't thrilled by the scent, but it has certainly grown on me. Makes great lather and results in a top shave. Highly Recommended!

I got a sampler of this, and you get quite a few shaves from them. I recently bought the Avocado, and to me, they smell just the same - kind of a fresh melon scent. Like all TOBs, this lathers very easily. The shave is ok, I find it middle of the road for performance. Mr. Taylor's is the stand-out TOBS for me.

HOW TO USE

Scoop out an almond sized amount and use a shaving brush to work up a lather. Apply to beard and wait 2 minutes to allow hair to soften. Cream may also be applied directly to the face and worked into a lather using your fingers. Shave and rinse.

TIPS AND ADVICE

Ideally shave straight after a shower or hold a hot, wet towel over your face for a few minutes to soften the hairs.
