Fantastic Stuff
"As someone who has suffered from a rash after every shave I hated shaving. However this cream is amazing stuff! After a standard shave I applied this cream and the refreshment feeling was instant, and no rash! Amazing stuff worth every penny!!"

"I haven't yet tried a shave without prepping with this first, so don't know how 'good' it is in that regard.
But I really enjoy all the Proraso stuff. The scent is just pure old style barber shop.
I like the cooling menthol effect used as a post shave, I just wish it would leave my skin smoother, like a moisturiser does. It has a dry, but tacky feel to it.
But at these prices, this stuff is all good."

Impressive!
"I have recently started DE shaving. Reading a few things on this website, i purchased this and the proraso shave cream. The scent is great and the feel of this product, gives your face a nice tingle before the shave. It soften's the hair up quite good and mixed with the shave cream creates a pleasant shave. This product will definitely be kept in my shaving attire."

"I really enjoy using this stuff.
Some may be put off by the Menthol thing, but to me this just reeks of 'proper' shaving.
I always use before and after shaving, and it has got me through the learning process of DE shaving, where, to begin with, I razored too hard, even thought I thought I was feather light.
I'm not big on fragrance/aftershave, so for me, this is a great way to finish off a shave.
Doesn't leave the skin smooth like moisturiser does though; it has a kind of dry, tacky feel.
It's been around forever, and with good reason. Well worth a go."

"This is the one product in the Proraso range I won't be without (I just bought two new tubs of it from MensBiz!). It is fantastic as pre-shave, and if I have had a rough shave ~ as we all do sometimes ~ it is wonderfully curative and healing afterwards. I wouldn't use it as an aftershave every day, though; the "Vicks vapor-rub" smell wouldn't be much of a chick-magnet!"

"I like this because I use the proraso shave cream, but im not totally convinced this is the be all, end all of pre/post cream. It got glowing reviews on badgerandblade.com but to me so far, it is just 'good'. But hey, good is better than bad! Try it."

I'll continue to use this one.
"Leave on your face for a few minutes before you shave (I think next time I'll even try putting it on before showering) and then apply shaving cream. It does soften the hairs and the menthol gives quite a soothing/tingling sensation. It's quite an experience and may be a little too full on for people with sensitive skin though? All in all, very good."

"I've been looking for a good non-oily pre shave product for some time and I've finally found it. Since using this product I've had the closest shaves ever. It leaves your skin feeling tingly, anticipating the shave to come! I'll definitely be trying other Proraso products."
