From my experience this mask is great at cleaning out the deep 'gunk' and dirt trapped in the pores, and also very adept at stunting the formation of larger blackheads when used once or twice a week. Best used after pores have been opened up after a shower or steam, but be careful not to it leave on for too long as it can be overly drying.
