My philosophy on most shaving products is you don't have to spend a lot to get good ones; beyond a certain price range it's more about other things, and for me, this is where T&H and Trumper's find their niche.

This is a nice cream. Easy to lather, as all creams are. The scent is too mild for me, I find the Trumpers sandalwood more scented, and even that's pretty mild too. TOBS sandalwood by comparison to these two is a honky block of creamy wood. There's trying to be subtle, and then there's barely putting any scent in there. T&H falls into the latter area for me.

It works well, but no better than others such as Proraso or TOBS or Speick I reckon. What you get with T&H is a suite of products you can match up once you find a scent you like, and some are very nice indeed. Essentially, that's what you're paying for with such brands, in my opinion.
