Product Review (submitted on 7 March 2011):: I've been using the sample tube version. Being a shave soap and badger brush user, I was initially skeptical about how good this product would be, but I've been pleasantly surprised by this product. I followed the usage instructions to the letter and I was able to get a really close shave that left my face feeling very moisturized, even before applying any aftershave or moisturiser! However, while it gives a close shave, I've found that I have to shave much sooner than if I'd shaved with Proraso. The scent is ordinary - some chemical I can't identify. It isn't upleasant though. Just not a 'fragrance'. It applies thicker than Jack Black beard lube and I feel it performs better. This has been my go-to when I'm late for work and need a quick shave.
