- I specifically bought this because it wasn't made of badger hair, I'm not convinced that badger hair is humanely and sustainably "harvested". It works very well, certainly whips up a creamy foam (I use Trumper shave cream). Because the bristles are quite long, when it was new it was easy to flick cream all over the mirror unless you take care. With use, this has become less of an issue. Maybe badger brushes are better, but I can't go this way ethically.
