Wet face and rub stick lightly over moistened skin. Use a damp shaving brush to work up a lather on your face. Shave and rinse. Please avoid getting water inside the plastic tube as this will damage the twist mechanism.

I bought the D R Harris almond shave stick to try, and I'm glad I did. I was expecting a scent very similar other shave soaps like cella, however the D R Harris version is very different. It doesn't have the marzipan scent to it, it's a little sweeter, and subdued. The performance is excellent, just like all D R Harris products. Very easy to generate a thick rich lather which provides for a smooth shave. Very convenient to have around for a quick, mess free shave or when travelling.

After rubbing across one's wet face lathers up very well with a brush; enough for about 2 passes as you just can't get the water and soap into the brush for a lush 3 passes as you would if you'd lathered up the brush from a puck or a bowl of shave cream. But hey, just rub on your face again, lather briefly with brush, and there you go - full lather once again.
Gentle, pleasing scent to me. Very good cushion between blade and face, no knicks, scapes, or in-grown hairs.
