Fantastic, an immediate classic

A bold, sophisticated and intelligent modern Fougère that compliments the Shaving cream to perfection.

Delightful musk notes that endure throughout the day from only a couple of direct sprays onto the skin after a fresh, clean shave. This is a very much an intelligent, appealing scent ideal for wearing throughout the business day.

Great smell - Only require a drop!

Great smelling after shave that is very similar to the shaving soap although a little sweeter. Trick is DO NOT USE TOO MUCH, less is oh so much more when it comes it this after shave.
One thing I didn't like is the fact that it is a spray bottle, after shaves (in my opinion) should be the open top style, pour onto hands and splash onto face not spray, colognes should be spray bottles.
The fact that the after shave AND cologne on Mensbiz are identical is a bit sill.
Overall a good buy.

Very modern scent

As some other reviewers have done, I purchased the Jermyn St aftershave to go with the Jermyn St shaving cream i received as a gift.

The shaving cream has an amazing yet subtle scent that I absolutely love and the aftershave is no different. The smell is amazing. As with most fragrances and aftershaves though, what smells good on me may not smell good on you.

On me, the smell is very fresh and young and I dont find it at all florally like some others have mentioned.

I usually apply first thing in the morning (after my shave) and can usually still smell a little of it when i get home in the afternoon and it doesnt go stale either like some cheap aftershaves do. Stays strong all day.

There is no burn at all from this aftershave, which is good and bad. Good for those that have sensitive skin, but bad for me because I love a slight burn when applying an aftershave it just finishes the shave off for me.

Keep in mind when purchasing though, the product can be a little greasy or oily on the skin and I find it tricky to apply. Maybe I need to get used to it, or maybe i am just used to alcohol based aftershaves and splash bottles?

Even with these two minor negatives though, the product does exactly as it describes, which is why I still gave it 5 stars. Smells amazing and soothes the skin as a great aftershave should.

Would definitely reccomend.

smell like a man should

i do have sensitive skin and ive never had a aftershave that didn't burn like hell until now, not only that but the scent is great, this goes strait on after a shave without any soreness or redness

I really tried to like it, but ...

I bought a bottle of this to go with the matching TOBS Jermyn St shaving cream (which I like very much). Unfortunately the scent is totally unlike that of the shaving cream - in fact I find it quite unpleasant. It is very floral and sweet in smell, more like a perfume than an after shave. I tried it once and had to wash it off as soon as I got to work. It is not at all what I was expecting. It does work well as an aftershave, is soothing and has no "burn" at all - which is actually a bad thing in my book as I quite like a mild burn from an AS. If you have very sensitive skin and don't like AS burn this might be for you, but try to smell it first before you commit to buying. You'll either like the scent or, like me, feel like pouring it down the sink.
