Did you stock this as a result of a demo Nathan ? If so, is it effective ?

Haven't tried this one yet Roscoe - I rarely use a cartridge razor these days. But it has received a lot of great feedback overseas and a number of people that I trust say that it works well.

The CEO of RazorPit (Jesper Hvejsel) got into the act at this forum

YouTube video

I've spent the best part of an hour reading comments about this product and without exception, all those who've bought one have nothing but good to say about it.
It's only a matter of time before Gillette buys out RazorPit and ceases to make the product, after all, it's depriving Gillette of profits.

Completely knackered this today. Not realising my HeadBlade has the sharp bits going the wrong way ........... I tried to sharpen it ......... and with the foam on the device ......... didn't see the damage I was doing until it was done !! Could've cut my throat when I saw what had happened ........... severely unhappy with myself ................. Oh well ........ it won't happen again.
Fortunately there's still a big of undamaged silicone "stuff" at each end of the sharpener which I can use but it doesn't give too much of a working area ....... doh doh doh ......... how stupid can a man be ??

Update 08-02-10

Even though it's damaged I used it this a.m. and it did the trick. I think with continual use the silicone pad will gradually smooth out so the Razor Pit itself will probably wear out and need replacing.
