I'm not even going to try to identify the notes in this - I'll leave that to better noses than mine. I'll just say that I wear this when I don't know what else to wear, when I'm feeling a bit out of step with the world, when I need to feel particularly unique and untouchable. A wild windy winter's day would be perfect for this, when the world's clutching at me and trying to tear bits off - Blamage would just dig its woody thorny claws in and laugh wickedly. To me, Blamage always feels spiky and jagged, splintery and timberous (yeah, I think I just invented that word). It doesn't give a hoot whether anyone else likes it or not, nor if they think it's terrible or wonderful. When I wear this chaotic fragrance, I feel the same way. It's pretty special, and not for the faint of heart.

This is going to be a perfume that is near impossible to review, but here it goes... This perfume is something people are either going to love or hate, I highly suggest you test this on a card or even on yourself before buying. I personally find it, dry, raw, smokey, musky, animalistic and unlike anything I have every smelt in my life. As smells and perfume can evoke past memories and life events, they can quite justifiably also considered a medium for artistic expression. Forget the boring yet safe department store varieties, blamage won't stand out from the crowd, it screams and boy does it get noticed. On that note, be prepared for the strength and silage of this, it is an 'extrait de parfum'. When you first spray it, believe me… one will do... its all you and anyone within 10 meters of you will smell for at least a day. Spray it on your clothes and it will literally last for days. Its easily strong enough to wipe the nozzle on your arm and still get an overpowering effect. It is pricey, but considering how little you need, its going to last longer than any other regular edt.
