Careful, it rusts

I have been quite disappointed. It looks great but over time it rusts. Unless you carfully dry this every day it will rust away. Not what you expect for what is supposed to be a premium product.

Simple as that...

Clean, easy and looks the part. It's as simple as that.

Good stand

Good little stand. It's simple but sturdy. My only quibble is that my Shave Mac brush doesn't quite fit, I have to pinch the bristles a bit and squeeze it into place. If you're looking to buy this stand (or any stand really) I'd suggest checking with Mensbiz that your brush will fit properly before buying.

My Merkur HD razor fits perfectly however.

Very nice razor - no complaints

My second DE razor - my first was a no-name cheapy I got from a tobaconist. The comparison is really chalk and cheese. My old razor has a "trapdoor" top where you wind the bottom to open the two wings on the top to change the blade - these would constantly jam on the blade and alter its angle giving me a "random shave". The Merkur's removable top piece means a perfectly fitted blade every time, and the whole thing feel like a quality piece. Heavy enough in the hand to give a good shave without effort, and though the handle was shorter than I expected it's comfortable and easy to use. I've not cut myself once with this razor and had a great shave every time.
