About 4-6 shaves from a blade is typical. As soon as the edge starts to dull, replace it. It doesn’t matter which side of the blade faces up, and turning it over after a few shaves won’t make any difference.

Useless

Blades doesn’t cut at all I’ve changed 4 blades and none of them did the job.

Razor is good But Blades are USELESS. Dont buy.

I bought the Merkur Solingen Moustache & Eyebrow Razor along with the pack of 10 blades. I must say I am totally TOTALLY disappointed with the blades. It is so blunt - and this is at first use. I had to resort to using my old Gillette razor which I must have used at least 50 times before and is still razor sharp. The Merkur Razor itself is a superb tool but without a blade what good is a shaving equipment. Money back please.

A good sharp blade

Fits snugly into the Merkur razor they were designed for and are nice and sharp, I've got a tough beard/stubble and it cleanly slices straight through it.
