An excellent choice. Bought it to replace my top-of-the-line Merkur which had done a great job for 28 months but had been accidentally mistreated beyond use by my wife. This replacement was forced on me by current budget restrictions but I'm so pleased I've ended up with this DE razor.

Shaved well out of the box with the demo blade accompanying it. Ordered it Tues 29/11 and it arrived 2/12.so I was sporting a thick 4-day growth when it arrived.
It's very easy to load/unload and to set the head.
A lovely shave in under 10 minutes of a thicker-than-average facial carpet.
