HOW TO USE
Immerse bristles in clean, warm water and shake off excess. Apply shaving cream to wet brush and use a circular motion to work up a creamy lather. (You may need to use a little more shave creme with a new shaving brush). Always rinse the brush in clean water after use and do not boil or soak. Always dry your brush by hanging on the stand provided. Before using the brush for the first time wash with soap and water and then rinse in clean water.

TIPS AND ADVICE
For a really close shave, use with men-u Ultra Concentrate Shave Creme. Always hang your shaving brush on a stand to dry so that the bristles can dry down and not up to the handle. This helps promote the longevity of the bristles and is best hygienically.

Like I said earlier, it's a decent brush for a decent price, but don't expect it to last. If you're committed to using a brush, be prepared to buy a better one later.
The lather quality is fine, no complaints there.

About 4 months after purchase, the rim started cracking in various parts. Apparently this is common with this make of brush, but it does not seem to have affected the brush's function. It did and still does make a decent lather. I am aware the instructions on this site say not to soak the brush, but you should be able to leave a brush designed for the purpose of shaving in a sink of hot (not boiling) water while you shower and have it not sustain damage (if that is indeed the cause).
I'll probably use it for a while yet before buying a Shavemac or something like that, but I imagine I'll keep this one around.
