I had my doubts about this product when I first opened the sample that I received with an order from Men'sBiz. The smell of Roses was not what I was expecting although the colour should have given it away. With a little hesitation I placed the smallest amount on the end of my finger and proceeded to rub it in to my freshly shaved face. The rose scent is not long lasting which is a bonus. The effect on freshly shaved skin is simply astounding. It has a very instant soothing affect and leaves your sking feeling like a million dollars. I'm still working my way through the tiny sample bottle. A little goes a long way. I actually prefer the Rose scented Coral to the Extract of Limes but I've got the Sandalwood on my list of future purchases as I am partial to the Sandalwood scent. An excellent product from GFT.

I used the Coral Skin Food as a post-shave balm. I'm not normally a fan of rose scented products but the rose scent is very light and the 'coral' scent is very refreshing. as soon as I applied it I knew that my skin loved it. soothing, rich & luxurious. it performs as well as any other post-shave balm I have ever used.
damn you Men's Biz..... another little sampler that has got me hooked!

This product is just as effective as the Trumper's sandalwood skin food, but personally I am not that partial to the scent. The scent of the coral lasts a little while and while I dont apply an au de toilette directly after my shave I could imagine that the strong scent may interupt what you put on top. For my money, I would stick with the sandalwood.

I received a small sample of this with a purchase. The balm does help well to soothe the skin after a shave, and stops my skin from drying out too much. The fragrance is an odd choice but seems to be masked by cologne anyway.

I decided to try the new coral skin food since the lime one was out of stock. I found the alcohol burned my skin yet the lime one did not despite the fact that they are made of roughly the same ingredients (both have alcohol in them).

It seems the lime one is far more soothing and the smell is less strong and more pleasent. If you're looking to buy skin food give this one a miss and grab the lime and you won't be disappointed it is every bit as soothing as it should be.

I had to review this, if only to give some support to the Coral's rosewater scent.

I am definitely partial to Turkish Delight, and that's what this is. It is sweet and floral, and smells like that gelatinous heaven that comes in chunks dusted with sugar.

The arguments that have been made in previous reviews have primarily been about the scent. It may polarise some (they say the same about Tabac, and that stuff is incredible) but I love it and the performance is fantastic. If you are a fan of extremely sweet scents, give this a go. Layer it with D&G's The One as a cologne, and smell irresistible to hungry women everywhere.

I really wish Trumpers made a shave cream of this scent. I would spread it on crackers.
