I have been a TOBS user for many years and thought I would try out this sample set for something different. These creams are very easy to lather and the lather itself is very even in consitency. You only need a little. In my view they are just a little bit lighter than I am used to - and seem a little less lubricating because of that. Having said this, I think there is less difference than there is similarity with the TOBS range - which begs the question, why use eShave as it is more expensive?

The scents are very nice, but very like their TOBS equivalents. The Verbena is like TOBS lime. The stand-out here, though is the 'white tea' which is a disctinctive and really pleasant and unique to eShave. The after shave balms are pretty standard - but , again, the white tea, which is vaguely citrusy and not at all tea-like, is the winner.

I think the other problem eShave faces is the name and brand image. Many of us have come back to non-aerosol creams and DE razors to appreciate the ritual of shaving and and recapture it - which is why the 'ye olde worlde' branding of the English products apeal. Not sure what 'eShave' is trying to say. Kind of reminds me of iSnack 2.0

Great sample pack to find a product that suits, both skin and scent. Will purchase products in this range in the future.
