HOW TO USE

Snap a blade in half along the perforation. Open the Black Sleeve and position the blade so that the holes line up with the notches in the sleeve (if positioned correctly, the blade should protrude slightly). Squeeze the sleeve closed making sure the blade does not move out of position. Carefully slide the sleeve into the shank of the Dovo Shavette Razor.

Good blades to go with the dodo shavette Review by: Sunil 12/09/2017

I got a packet along with the new dodo shavette that I had bought and they provide you with that extra light that mimics that of a straight razor. While they might be a bit expensive than other blades, if you are using the dodo shavette these are the blades to go for. The extra length means lesser passes to get the work done and in my case it also mean lesser nick and cuts. I would continue to buy them as long as I use a dove shavette.
Yes, they are a bit more expensive, but they provide you with that "Straight razor" shaving feeling that you can't get from using it with a standard DE blade.

Nice blades!! Great Quality Review by: Anthony 13/12/2013

After purchasing my first Dovo Shavette and having tried it with the full size straight razor blade in it, I just couldn't pass up on getting a pack of these blades.

Yes, they are a bit more expensive, but they provide you with that "Straight razor" shaving feeling that you can't get from using it with a standard DE blade.

Performance it quite nice, and I do get nice and smooth shaves without any tugging. I am yet to change the blade, so it's lasted for 4 shaves so far!

Yes, you only get 10 full size blades, however, when you snap them in half there are 20 useable blades. If you calculate that by roughly 4 shaves per blade (although YMMV) they are good for 80 shaves or more!! Thats my experience anyway!

Thanks again Mens Biz!
A tad disappointing Review by: RAL 17/08/2013

First two blades felt like they were trying to pull my face off on the first use, nowhere near sharp enough. Next two I got one and a half decent shaves with then them it was back to the dull painful experience the first ones gave me. Disappointing seeing as though they cost $20 and are the only longer blade option I can find for my shavette. I will press on with the rest of the pack but I feel it is a gamble on how sharp the blade is going to be. Not worth the money.

An awesome change from a standard DE blade, as close as you can get to straight with much less fuss.
Awesome! Review by: llO0DQLE 21/11/2012

I just got a Dovo Shavette (however, I've been using a shavette type razor for years) and got 3 blade packs, the Feather (yellow) for the red holder, this one for the black holder, and the Fromm that goes into the green holder. The Feather was a bit too sharp I think. I used it for the left side of my mustache and I bled a little. I wouldn't call it a nick as I didn't actually nick myself. I have these bumps sometimes that even with a Gillette safety razor, I bleed like this. Not sure how I can explain it better. Anyway, used these long blades for the right side of my mustache and it was perfect. Used the Fromm for my chin and immediately stopped after one pass, not sharp enough. Switch back to these ones and finished the rest of my shave. Perfect. No nicks, burns or anything. Right amount of sharpness and stiffness.
