The DOVO Blade Holder enables you to use any brand of Double Edge Blade in your DOVO Shavette Razor. The DOVO shavette razors have one of these included when you buy one - this is just for those who have lost or broken it. This sleeve replaces the older red or clear/transparent sleeves, and will fit any DOVO Shavette.

Specifications:
Replacement blade holder sleeve for Shavette razor. Will hold any double edge blade, snapped in half.

Made in Germany

Snap a Double Edge Blade in half. Open the sleeve and position the blade so that the holes line up with the notches in the sleeve (if positioned correctly, the blade should protrude slightly). Squeeze the sleeve closed making sure the blade does not move out of position. Carefully slide the sleeve into the shank of the DOVO Shavette Razor.

Not the same

Dovo’s quality has dropped way off. These holders don’t last more than a few bends and they break in half.
Terrible quality, very disappointing as I love my razor but will have to think about an alternative!

Don’t throw out your red one!

Such a simple yet essential part. Being clear, it’s hard for those of us with poor eyesight to load a new blade. The bumps for locating the blade are wider apart, so it can move sideways. The overhanging lip goes too far past the blade edge making it difficult to get into the corners and edges of my goatee. Lastly, it is much tighter to slide in and out of the shavette. It’s almost dangerous to use that much force around a sharp edge.

Saved a whole new razor

I love my Dovo Shavette, and also have the black sleeve. I lost the red sleeve, and missed being able to use different brands of blade. Works exactly as the original.
