The Baxter of California combs are handmade from high quality cellulose acetate sheets (a natural material derived from cotton and tree pulp cellulose). From cutting to polishing, each comb goes through a detailed 12-step process of manufacturing - all done by hand. With smoothly tapered teeth and rounded tips, this comb delivers the highest quality for scalp and hair comfort. Approximate dimensions: 133mm x 27mm.. Made in Switzerland.

Great comb

Even though it's made of simple acetate there is a distinct air of quality. Advertised as a pocket size, it's still large enough to be sufficient as one's only comb. Would buy again if need be.

After using a 'freebie' comb for years, I didn't know what I was missing out on, the Baxter is a huge upgrade for me, feels well made and the pocket size is perfect for both everyday use and travelling. I was a little hesitant at spending this much on a comb but I can see this lasting for years.
